| I have always wondered why web masters fell for pr updates as being so important. I guess if you were trying to rip someone off by thinking your website was better than it really was than pr is a great thing to be interested in. Page rank really has no meaning in the strength of a web site, because 65% of high serp sites on the internet are pr 4 or below. What does this tell you? I guess what it tells me is that if page rank meant the strongest site content then I would only see high page rank sites in every key word in every search, but obviously this is not the case. I believe that web masters need to wake up and smell the coffee when submitting. Instead of looking for high pr web directories to submit to, find your key term and submit high serp because if it is proven to be the strongest link in the search then obviously it is going to be one of the strongest links in your website as far as content is concerned. |
